Doha, Mar 26: A Guinness World Record was created in Doha on Friday after Indian Sports Centre successfully conducted a yoga lesson for most nationalities i.e. 114. The record was achieved at Aspire Zone under the aegis of the Indian embassy in Doha.
 
India Guinness World Record in Qatar Yoga
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated the Indian Embassy in Qatar for organizing a mega yoga event that saw participation by individuals from a record 114 nationalities. He tweeted, "Yoga is uniting the world in pursuit of good health and wellness. A great effort by Indian embassy in Doha of bringing together people from several nations for practising Yoga."
 
 
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar congratulated the Government of Qatar, the Indian Comm ty Sports Centre and the participants for the record-making event. “Glad to see Yoga’s global appeal manifesting in a new #GuinnessRecord. 114 nationalities were represented at this Yoga session in Qatar today. “Congratulate the Government of Qatar, Indian Comm ty Sports Centre and the participants,” he said in a tweet.
 
 
Earlier, the Indian Embassy in Doha said in a tweet: “A proud and historic moment for Indian Comm ty and Qatar as we make it to Guinness World Record after Indian Sports Centre successfully conducted a yoga lesson for 114 nationalities at @aspirezone.”
