Dharamshala, Oct 23: India ended a 20-year drought against New Zealand in ICC tournaments, securing a memorable four-wicket victory in the ongoing 2023 ODI World Cup on Sunday, thanks to Mohammad Shami and Virat Kohli.
 
Riding on the indomitable innings of Virat Kohli, who played a valiant knock of 95, and Shami taking fifer, India successfully chased down a competitive target of 274 runs with 12 balls to spare.

1.The win is India’s first against New Zealand in ICC events in 20 years. The Men in Blue had last beaten the Black Caps in the 2003 World Cup match in Centurion.
