The Indian cricket team is ready to lock horns against Australia for the much-anticipated Border Gavaskar series. Prior to this, Indian cricket was up against New Zealand.

Amid this, Indian cricketers Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik are being trolled from a section of the fans at home for refusing to apply Tilak on their forehead. As customary by Indian traditions the team was welcomed with a tilak across their head by hotel staff.

In a video that went viral on social media, the Indian cricketers and pace duo Umran Malik and Mohammed Siraj refused to appy tilak while other were seen applying it. The two were seen acknowledging the hotel staff but gestured with their hands that they didn't want it. Vikram Rathour who is the batting coach of the Indian cricket team was also seen refusing the application of Tilak.

However, the video seems to be old too. Umran is not part of the Test squad for Australia series. It could be from the Sri Lanka and New Zealand white-ball matches that recently took place at home.

Recently, Bharatiya Janata Party's Lok Sabha MP and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir (BJP MP Gautam Gambhir) uploaded a video of himself at the shrine of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya (Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya) in Delhi. Sharing this video, Gautam Gambhir wrote, "Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya."
