Indian shooters ran riot in Hangzhou, on Day 4 of the ongoing Asian Games 2023. On Wednesday, the Indian trio clinched gold in the women's 25m pistol team event, and Sift Kaur Samra won the gold medal breaking the world record and Asian record.
A gold in women's 25m pistol team event
The Indian trio of Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan stunned their opponents with an impressive combined score of 1759. Bhaker also topped qualification in the women's 25m pistol event, with Esha finishing in fifth place and Rhythm taking seventh.
A silver in 50m rifle 3 positions women's team event
Another Indian trio of Ashi Chouksey, Manini Kaushik and Sift Kaur Samra shone in the 50m rifle 3 positions women's team event as they won silver.
Gold and bronze in women's 50m rifle 3 positions individual event
Sift Kaur Samra won gold medal breaking world record, Asian record, Asian Games record in women's 50m rifle 3 positions individual event while Ashi Chouksey wins bronze in the same event.
With this, Indian athletes have now 18 medals at Asian Games 2023
