Prime Minister Narendra Modi annually leads the nation in observation of IDY. According to the plan, in 2020 the venue for IDY was Leh, but the physical event could not happen because of the pandemic. However, around 100 volunteers from the UT of Ladakh were trained by MDNIY as yoga protocol instructors.
