Tokyo, July 29: In a huge victory for India, a great morning was witnessed here at the Tokyo Olympics. Archer Atanu Das defeated two-time Olympic gold medalist Jinhyek Oh while India's ace shuttler PV Sindhu defeated Denmark's Mia Blichfeldt to enter the quarterfinals.

This was followed by the Indian men's hockey team beating defending champions Argentina 3-1 to confirm a spot in the last-eight stage. Besides, boxer Satish Kumar beats Jamaica's Ricardo Brown 4-1 in men's Super Heavy (+91kg) to qualify for quarterfinals.
