After a record-breaking medal tally at the Asian Games where India crossed the 100-medal mark (107), India has now scripted history in the Asian Para Games as it has recorded its highest-ever medal tally.
The Indian medal tally has swelled to 73 medals and still counting as it looks to achieve the most remarkable performance ever at the Asian Para Games. This achievement marks a historic moment for the Indian contingent, surpassing its previous best performance.
At 2018 Asian Para Games, it had won 72 medals including 15 gold, 24 silver and 33 bronze medals. India had won 14 medals at the 2010 edition and 33 in 2014
The historic 73rd medal in the ongoing Games in Hangzhou came from Nithya Sre, who clinched a remarkable bronze medal in the Women's Singles SH6 event.
