India has assured at least 100 medals at the Asian Games with Sonam Malik winning bronze in the wrestling. This was later added onto by Kiran Bishnoi. They now have 92 medals handed to them, and another 9 medals confirmed, with only the exact colour - gold, silver, or bronze - to be confirmed.

India had long crossed their previous best tally, of 70 medals, but the century mark will make this Games even more special.

The tally seemed improbable when the Games started but surprise wins in equestrian, sailing and rowing, and large number of medals in shooting and athletics, helped India cross the line with a day (and several more medals) to go.

Speaking of Day 13 of the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, HS Prannoy settled with bronze in Badminton.

In archery, India clinched the bronze medal in the women's recurve archery event by defeating Vietnam with a score of 6-2. Indian archers win silver after losing to South Korea in men's recurve team final at Asian Games.

In Kabbadi, India clinched a commanding victory over Nepal in the women's kabaddi semifinal. The Indian women secured a straightforward 61-17 win, earning them a spot in the final. This victory also marks their highest score in the competition.

In cricket an exceptional bowling performance by spinner Sai Kishore, combined with explosive batting displays from captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Tilak Varma, propelled India into the final of the cricket tournament at the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou. India secured their place with a commanding nine-wicket victory over Bangladesh on Friday.

A win against Bangladesh would guarantee India a silver medal in men's cricket. Day 13 of the Asiad will commence with India's recurve teams participating in the knockout rounds of the men's and women's tournaments in Hangzhou.
