Airee smashed a half-century in just nine balls during the Asian Games 2023 match between Nepal and Mongolia, which was played at the Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field in Hangzhou.

Yuvraj had scored fifty in just 12 balls during India’s T20 World Cup 2007 match against England in Durban on September 19, 2007. His record was later matched by Chris Gayle, who also hammered a fifty in just 12 balls for the Melbourne Renegades during a Big Bash League (BBL) match.

The 23-year-old right-handed batter Airee came out to bat at No. 5 for Nepal and, with the help of eight sixes, remained not out on 52 runs from 10 balls. He also helped Nepal post a total of 314 runs for the loss of just three wickets. It is the highest ever total in a T20 match by any team.
