"Celebrating Christmas is HARAM": Radical Islamists target bowler Mohammed Shami for wishing on Dec 25th

New Delhi, Dec 26: In yet another attempt to target Indian pacer Mohammad Shami, radical Islamists have slammed the bowler for wishing people on the occasion of Christmas saying that "You cannot celebrate Christmas because, in Islam, it is considered Haram".
Taking to Instagram, he shared a picture in which he is wearing a red-white coloured cap and there is Christmas tree in the back. "WISHING YOU PEACE,JOY, AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AT CHRISTMAS AND ALWAYS," he captioned.
However, several people belonging to Muslim community commented that you should not celebrate since it is Haram in Islam. "Shami bhai Hm Log Muslim hai Aur Hm Logo ko Christmas 🎄 bolna Haram Hai Bhai," a netizen said.
A netizen urged the Indian player to take down the post. "Bhai Allah ne aapko puri duniya me izzat di h isliye koi asa kaam na kro jis kaam se allah naraz ho jaye plz apni post delete krdo aur aap bhi allah ko izzat do allah na kisi ka beta h na hi koi uska beta h wo akela h aur hamesha akela rhega uske alawa koi ibadat ke layaq nhi plz🙏 mere bhai samjho aap muslim ho aapse bht mohabbat krta hu me".

Earlier, Mohammad Shami had to face the wrath of radical Islamists after wishing a happy Dussehra to everyone on social media. Several radical Islamists said slammed the cricketer for wishing people on a Hindu festival as he is a Muslim.
